New Year

On the way back from the rainforest

Fireworks on the new years eve..

I know I was supposed to update my blog after I finish every project I do (that is what I told myself when I made this blog anyways)... I am still too lazy..... ahhhhhh....

Anyways, to sum it up, I did plant more trees, remove weeds and plant more trees again during past few weeks. I went back to Cardwell on a re-vegetation project. The main purpose of the project was to bring back the habitat of Mahogany gliders and cassowaries to their original state before cyclone Yasi. We worked on two main sites; a huge nature reserve and a stretch of rainforest. Even though the mozzies and marchflies were annoying as always, not to mention the unbearable heat, we had a lot of fun and made some new friends too. Then I worked in the nursery and Towncommon after I returned back to Townsville.

On new year's eve, I went to see the fireworks with a friend. Didn't get that many good photos... the mosquitoes and drunk people around are to blame. Just before the fireworks started two drunks showed up and demanded we take photos of them posing.. wouldn't leave us alone... aaah.... anyways... happy new year fellas.
